Lavariano, Borgo Rurale del Medio Friuli

Di antica proprietà dei Conti Strassoldo, feudatari di Lavariano, fu costruito dopo l'arrivo della Roggia tra il 1296 ed il 1311. Fu gestito da diversi mugnai che aggiunsero all'edificio originario i rustici e le abitazioni. Divenne Mulino Cogoi nel 1883. Ha cessato l'attività nel 1995.

DIE MÜHLE DER GRAFEN STRASSOLDO - heute COGOI

Ein alter Besitz der Grafen Strassoldo, Lehnsherren von Lavariano, wurde zwischen 1296 und 1311 nach der Ableitung der "Roggia" gebaut. Sie wurde von verschiedenen Müllern betrieben, die das ursprüngliche Gebäude durch Geräteschuppen und Wohnungen vergrößerten. 1883 wurde sie zur Mühle Cogoi und stellte 1995 den Betrieb ein.

THE MILL OF THE STRASSOLDO FAMILY - nowadays COGOI

An old property of the Strassoldo family, feudatories of Lavariano, it was built between 1296 and 1311 after the diversion of the "Roggia". It has been run by various millers, who added the outhouses and the cottages to the former building. It became Mulino Cogoi in 1883 and stopped its activity in 1995.
